Every detail was taken care of... the flowers were all chosen to have a hue of purple, the food was prepared with love and all vegetarian, all the guests were asked to wear their favourite shade of 'plum' (i missed that memo), the cake was divine, there were even tokens of gratitude prepared with my favourite Gandhi quote.
My friend (and masseuse) Katherine came to give all the guests the gift of massage... not everyone got a chance to participate, but the smells along with her energy added a sense of calm & relaxing vibes to the entire afternoon.
As I looked around at everyone 'wearing plum', I was amazed at how many people are here ready to welcome Little Plum with open arms... and to support me and our family on each step of this new adventure. I feel blessed beyond belief and find myself short on words to truly express my gratitude.
| Lotus flowers with purple hue... representing so much with their beauty and strength. So fitting for a baby shower for Little Plum. |
