Thanksgiving continues to be one of my most favourite holidays... at least in theory. I love the concept of a day that inspires us to pause and give thanks... to make the choice to feel gratitude, instead of fear and worry. It is a powerful tool... for if we can do it one day of the year, perhaps (just perhaps) we can do it more!!
This Thanksgiving we enjoyed a lovely wine and cheese with all of the Canadians at the embassy... opening our home to share in a special moment as we all make a home away from home.
This Thanksgiving, I am so thankful for the light... for it truly does always trump the dark... and it is always, always a choice we can make.
